What got you into CrossFit?
I had been using personal trainers to work out for a number of years, but it's hard to find someone who's reliable, knowledgeable and not too expensive. I was looking for something I could fit into a hectic schedule and something that would keep my interest up, I get bored easily in the gym!
What's something no one at CFM knows about you?
I attended 42 Grateful Dead shows, and I live to tell about it.
What do you do when you're not in the gym?
I sail quite a bit and CrossFit has been hugely helpful to improving my physical balance, dexterity and strength necessary to perform well on deck. I was training for a big race last winter and spring and CrossFit was part of my race prep.
What's your favorite thing about CFM?
The coaches, the people, and the constant variety of activities.
Do you have a goal or something you are training for this coming year?
Weight loss and training for summer sailing season!
